Back to The Blizzard is a high-energy tribute to the original Blizzard of Ozz lineup, faithfully recreating the sound and spirit of those legendary recordings.
Featuring Lee Thompson (Lead Vocals), Steve Raia (Guitar), Andy Prezioso (Bass), Pete Sirianni (Keyboards), and Johnny Mosh (Drums), the band performs the complete Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman albums—spotlighting the groundbreaking guitar work of Randy Rhoads.
In 1980, Lee Kerslake, Bob Daisley, Randy Rhoads, and Ozzy Osbourne came together at Ridge Farm Studios in Surrey Hills, England, to create two of the most iconic hard rock albums ever recorded. While Blizzard of Ozz is often remembered as Osbourne’s debut solo album, it was, in truth, a collaborative band effort—written and arranged as a unified creative force. That vision was undermined when the finished product was released with Osbourne’s name dominating the cover, shifting the project toward a solo career with hired sidemen.
Despite the industry politics, those original sessions produced timeless rock masterpieces—records that still inspire generations of musicians. Back to The Blizzard celebrates that magic, honoring the chemistry, artistry, and spirit those four musicians captured more than four decades ago.
